Advocare 24 Day Challenge - Day 6 Review
Day 6
Fasting Blood Sugar: 193 - at 9:45 am, after a spark drink.
Probiotic Pill Pack and Spark – Two Probiotic pills and a spark drink!
Lunch – Chicken, Brown Rice, Asparagus
PM Snack – 2 teaspoons of Peanut Butter, 2 Hard Boiled Eggs
Dinner- Chick- Fil-a Grilled Chicken Nuggets, small fruit salad, 4 criss cut french fries, and 1 Omega Plex Supplement
Herbal Cleanse Pack – More of the Magic Pills.
Water, Water, Water – 1 gallon - at least I did 1 think right today!
Over all Day 6 was a hot mess! I don't even have words to describe it! I woke up on the complete crabby side of life this morning.
This challenge is teaching me a lot about my self.
1. I haven't really been hungry during this week which is a win, where I get trapped is the inability to choose crap food. Literally the thought of not being able to eat whatever craving I have almost brings me to the likes of a three year olds temper tantrum.
2. I have great sympathy for Ryan when he has tried and will try again in the future to stop smoking. I am pretty sure the anxiety I feel is nothing close to what he feels . Its certainly given me perspective.
3. Nothing…and I mean Nothing tastes better than a criss cut french fry from Chick Fil-a when you are craving a carb of some sort.
4. I am much better at following through when I have food prepared and ready to go! This is a good lesson for going forward!
5. I need to plan better for weekend days. We went to bed late, had to sleep on the couch (our new mattress was being delivered today), and I didn't prepare food ahead of time. This lead to me making some rash decisions and not working through the routine that I had been working during the week days.
6. My body does not know what to do with Normal Blood Sugar. I had an episode where I almost passed out, hearing went wacky, vision turned into a tunnel, and my knees were a little weak. I checked my Blood Sugar and it was 125, very close to the 120 I am supposed to be under. After eating a bit of my afternoon snack I started to feel better. I am hoping as my sugars stay lower, my body will become more comfortable running at a lower sugar level.

2/7/2014 CY365 One Little Word Rest
This is a view of our meals these days. I make a mix of chicken, brown rice, and asparagus for us or lunch. Its pretty yummy! I grill it up with a little olive oil and garlic salt! I really enjoy the brown rice. The flavor and feeling I get after eating it, is really fulfilling. Not having crazy hunger pains from this 24 day challenge helps me Rest in this decision.

Advocare 24 Day Challenge - Day 5 Review
Day 5
Fasting Blood Sugar: 182
Probiotic Pill Pack and Spark
Breakfast – Advocare Meal Replacement Shake and 1 Omega Plex!!
AM Snack –Banana and Peanut Butter
Lunch – Chicken, Brown Rice, and Asparagus
PM Snack – Apple and Peanut Butter
Spark Drink – More Fruit Punch Spark Drink
Dinner- El Pollo Loco Chicken Breast and Broccoli, 1 Omega Plex Supplement
Herbal Cleanse Pack – I totally forgot to take these
Water, Water, Water – about 3/4 of a gallon.
Over all day 5 started as a pretty great day for me! This is the lowest my fasting blood sugar has been in a very long time. I was content for most of the day until I got home from work in the evening. Once I was comfy at home, the battle began. Traditionally our Friday evenings are opportunities to have a date night or enjoy time out to dinner with family and or friends. We ended up moving our bedroom around, and then sitting on our butts. Sitting on my butt is my favorite position to enjoy snacks and soda. I wanted nothing to do with a healthy dinner let alone cooking one. Thank you to Ryan for going out to El Pollo Loco so I didn't have to resist the In and Out Burger in the same parking lot. I don't know that I would have stayed strong enough.
Fridays Indiscriminate Considerations
1. I love the name Benedict.
It could very
well have something to do with this guy!
2. I have Roar by Katy Perry playing way
too much,
it’s a girl power song, that has found its
way onto the playlist of
my days!
3. I have a really great gift for Ryan for
Valentine’s Day and I can’t wait to give it to him.
4. I am totally addicted to NXY Butter
Gloss
in the shade Crème Brule. It’s pretty much
the best gloss I’ve tried.
And
I have tried my share.
It’s not sticky, smells amazing,
and is on the cheaper
side!
5. I love me some smart water!
With an
increase of drinking as much as
a gallon of water of day,
I am becoming a very picky
drinker!

Superbowl 2014 - Will this Sadness ever end??
I made these mesh wreaths for our front door!
Can you guess what team I was rooting for?
I made a variety of desserts! Including these Peanut Butter Corn Flake Cookies that were to die for! You can find the recipe here
I just love these straws!! So stinking cute!
My Momma enjoyed the pizza dip I made, you can find the recipe here
I also made The Pioneer Woman's Hot Roast Beef Sandwiches. They were beyond amazing!
I paired them with a fresh fruit salad and little bags of chips.
We also servers chips and dip, and ritz crackers with cream cheese and salsa!
I am still in mourning over this loss!
